![]() ![]() ![]() I wonder what other excess charges there are hidden in their warranty wording? Come on Clearview be more clear good workmanship does not need to do this? As I informed them I will look next time for a company who will give a 10 year warranty no matter who the owner is? Is it not the case all products should be cared for by the owner under any warranty? Well I rest my case any reasonable man will only claim on product warranty on defects not neglect? Which wouldn’t be covered anyway?well I will leave this for you to think about before purchasing? I was informed by after care on the telephone this:- The warranty transfer will cost new owner £150 - £250 and only granted after an inspection? I thought hey don’t they give a warranty for their product not the customer? I was absolutely gobsmacked and thought a decent company only charge a small admin charge? Eventhough an engineer revisited he actually left with a list longer than he originally came with. they project manage from afar which is not acceptable, you end up project managing yourself. I had clearview windows installed over ten yrs ago around the rest of my home and was happy with the installation so hence why we decided to go back to them, it is the one of biggest mistake I have ever made and would not recommend them to anyone. at this point I am fuming as I had to then book another day off work not acceptable. I found more issues so emailed them too so he could add them to the visit on Monday (which I had taken time off from work for) he then tells me he has booked it in for Tuesday instead. The so called project manager called my husband minutes after the installer had left wanting to know why he hadn't signed the form so he explained the issues and we was booked in for Monday. 6 the windowsill has been cut wrong so he has covered it up with sealant to cover it up. 5 The extension clips on the top of the door were broken so the door just swung open. 4 The door wouldn't close and had to be forced. ![]() 3 The sealant outside was so untidy it looked like a child had done it and the pointing was knocked out and exposed. 1,the whole of the beading around the window was cracked and broken so much so that it was sticking out and sharp. He said that a small piece of beading had a mark on it and Clearview would replace it in a week. Then it all went wrong, the installer arrived and went into a tirade of abuse about the brick layers(not language I want to hear luckily it was my husband who heard him), the window and door was installed, once he had finished he came to the front door and asked us to sign an installation form because he needed to leave. brickwork removed by Steve the builder was brilliant and so clean and tidy. The date arrived and a radiator had to be moved in order for the brick work to be removed, after many emails to the alleged project manager (not) he told me to contact the plumber myself REALLY!!! which I did,a thoroughly lovely gentleman to find that he had been told a whole different story. Work ethic and customer care was none existentĪfter visiting the show room and being told we would have our work project managed we agreed for french doors and a window to be added to our kitchen. ![]()
